Yung's is always a must when visiting Dayton Ohio. My dish of choice is the stir fried pork with a spice level 3 and the fried gyoza with of course sake. Always a hit! The hostess was very attentive and gave me extra rice with my meal! Seems like a hole in the wall but I promise it's fantastic!

Food authentic, complimentary tea and side dishes. Worth the drive. Good service. Mom and pop place. A little basic in decor. Still on point for Korean food.

Yung's is such a hidden gem.. right when you walk inside, you're immediately treated like family. The owner ran it all- she took our orders, prepared the to-go orders, answered phones, checked us in.. all of it! She reminds me of my family- a mom who wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our meal and was there if we needed anything. The food was amazing. I have been to many Korean restaurants in Ohio, and I will keep coming back to this one. The portions are huge, their menu is authentic, you can feel the love in each dish. The restaurant may seem very old, and mom/pop like, and the bathroom may be outside.. but trust me. You will not regret it. I highly recommend the Japchae (glass noodles with beef/veggies) and the spicy pork dish! I brought a lot of American friends with me and they all loved trying something new!

This is one of those small, clean, and cozy restaurants that I love. I found time to enjoy a solo outing for lunch today. I am craving a good soondubu jigae after my fave Korean restaurant closed in my city. I have not found a good substitute for it, yet. I can say I found it here today! I chose level 4: just above my comfort level, but spicy and hot enough for this chilly day. The tofu was smooth and silky. Shelled clams were plenty, plus the egg made the perfect lunch. I was also offered a refill on the fishcake side dish, which I gladly accepted. My stomach is happy and content after this lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. The place filled up quickly after I left. I'll be back the next time I'm in town!

This was my first experience having authentic Korean food and is was fantastic! I got the bibimbap and loved it. There were extra toppings that came on the side (been sprouts, kimchi), and the hot stone bowl continued cooking the rice and made it crispy. Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. The inside of the restaurant is cute, and there are both table and booths. Looking forward to my next visit!

Okay I came in with a very good friend after looking at a car a few miles away. I looked for food and this place caught my eye so off I drove. I pulled in and my friend was a little concerned but I was good. We walked in and I sat down. My friend with to the bathroom which is outside. We both ordered a drink. We also both ordered the beef bulgogi. Which was freaking delicious. The service was excellent and she was ver my attentive. I was so pleased with the quality of what we got. The ambiance is very much down to earth, basic even. But this is where you get some of the best food and it shows and tastes here. I will be back.

Ultra authentic Korean. We eat at Yung's every time we're in town... So good. Don't be fooled by the hole in the wall vibe... The food is as fresh and authentic as you're going to find - You'll be hard pressed to find a better Korean joint in the Dayton area. Recommend the mandu and beef bulgogi, which are always exceptional. Yung's is a must stop if you dig Korean food.

Great experience! The food was fantastic, and very traditional. Spice level was 1-5, of course I got 5 it was like a "5" so A nice kick. The calamari dish was fantastic, and the Mandu was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. Ojingeo-bokkeum was great lunch special left me wanting more, lol Atmosphere was very nice, mostly quiet, and the staff was courteous and kind. They had almost no wait for food even though they were packed! Prices were not bad at all I got a small appotzier, a bunch of a la carte dishes for the table and a lunch special for $20. 10/10 would go back!

This is a small restaurant near WPAFB. It's great! It's gotten busier and busier ever since the coronavirus ended, and the service isn't any slower. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out very very fast. I got the pork bulgogli and it came with a lot of food and many banchan. The pork was very flavorful and tender. I really liked the fact that you also got two dumplings and all this great banchan. They have a great lunch special that gives you all this food for $12. You can also get a barley-type tea here. I recommend this restaurant.
